M416 Photos
These are some photos that I took in August 2003, of a 1978 Park M416 1/4 ton trailer that I purchased from a fellow NCMVPA member who decided to sell it in order to make room for his expanding collection of WWII vehicles and parts. Included in the deal was a spare tire and rim, straight left fender (the one on the trailer is slightly bent), and a spare bed that had been used as a cover for another M416 trailer that I did not purchase. Although the bed has some slight damage to the front right corner, the previous owner performed a bearing service on the trailer before I purchased it, and the lights and brakes on the trailer work and it has both drain plugs.
If you have questions about any of these photos, send me an email and I'll try to provide an answer.

2-3 | Side views of the M416 trailer with a second tub stacked on top. The spare tub was included in the purchase of the first trailer and had once been used as a top on another trailer (that I did not purchase). The town of Monroe, NC had taken the tub, cut the front panel to make it into a door, and had bolted it upside down on another M416 trailer. Since the tub had been upside down the entire time that the town had it, the floor and drains are in great condition. |
